On route to starting our climb our Land Rover lost it's fan belt. No
problem we had lots of free help from the llocal school children.

At 7.45am on Friday 13th Feb 2009, after exactly 8 hours of climbing I reached the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro

- Well I guess I've reached that point in my life when a portion of time is usefully spent on reflection in order for what follows to be even better than that which proceeded it.
